I don’t think God cares about porn unless it involves exploitation of those involved. I know all of the feminist arguments about women’s life experiences not providing enough resources and options resulting in them “choosing” to engage in the porn industry. Honestly, I buy that argument re: prostitution, which is more of an immediate gratification as far as making money.

I don’t think porn fits the same exploitation model – I’m pretty sure the “actors” and “actresses” involved aren’t getting paid cash at the end of each day (maybe they are and I’m just naive on this). Therefore, it doesn’t provide as much incentive for quick and easy money. I believe that leads to a bit more choice re: whether to be involved or not.

So, if it’s free choice, I don’t think God really cares.

I guess it depends on who’s God you’re talking about – the Pope’s God – sure, other than married heterosexual vaginal only intercourse is verboten.

My “god” could care less what I do in bed or with whom.
