Politicians just want your votes. They could give two shits about your problems or concerns once they get elected. Time and time again we elect politicians based on what they say they are going to do for us and time and time again they shit on us once elected.
Along comes Obama, someone that seems fresh, honest and just different from the heap of smelly dogshit that has stunk up Washington for the last few decades. But there is a problem. You see, Obama actually says what he means and means what he says. And apparently yesterday he mentioned that there are racists and gun lovers in this country and that some of them even live in Pennsylvania!!! Racists!?!? In THIS country?!?!? That silly negro is crazy!!!
Here is the quote in all it’s glory:
“You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
Well the pundits are having a blast with this one. Over at powerline they are asking the question “Is Obama’s campaign over?”. That’s right, apparently Obama’s campaign might be over because he had the balls to tell people that there are racists and gun lovers in Pennsylvania. Perhaps the author of the article at powerline would rather have had Obama just be more…..’politician-like’? Perhaps the quote would have gone something like this:

Eh, politics suck. Politicians suck. The only thing lower are Political Pundits. And John at PowerLine has taken to posting asshatted douchebaggery just like the rest of his ilk. I hope McCain wins and drafts every right wing pundit in the country and sends them all to Iraq. Perhaps then, they can all witness the result of electing a President that is afraid to tell the truth.
