I have asked this question to many people and figured I would also ask on here. Do you always laugh out loud when you type ‘lol’ in an online conversation or do you use ‘lol’ just as a way of saying something is funny? I always feel like I am lying when I type ‘lol’ because I never really laugh out loud while in an online conversation.

I have suggested to people that there needs to be a new acronym for actually laughing out loud since I believe that most people use ‘lol’ without meaning it. I propose we use ‘alol’ to tell people we are actually laughing out loud. What do you think?

Some might argue that it’s not necessary since most internet acronyms are lies. I mean who actually has ever rolled on the floor laughing (ROFL). Nobody has actually laughed their ass off (lmao) as it’s not possible for your ass to fall off. Hell, I don’t even have an ass so every time I say ‘lmao’ I am telling a lie.

Here is a small list of ideas for you to try out at your place of business. Some or all of them may get you fired so don’t complain here if you do.

If there is one argument that rages on day after day both online and off it is what is better, a Mac or a PC. This horse is so dead I don’t think it’s even glue factory material any longer. Personally I have both and I wouldn’t want to be without either. I grew up using a PC so I know it like I know my own genitalia. I discovered Macs a few years ago and I fell in love with them. I will not bore you with what each does well or does not do well. A simple google search will give you four or five days worth of reading material on the subject. What I will tell you is that people need to shut their frigging pie holes about it already.
